Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I am SO worried that I will miss the call...ugh...=)  Am so excited for graduation !!!

I've gotten two letters and one phone call.  He writes that he hopes to see us on 11/8.  He said it in his phone call and that date is written in his letter.  His PIR from the form letter has 11/4 on it.  What am I missing?

Hi Kriss,

I have some questions about that too. Our SR's division is suppose to be a push division. He told us he would graduate perhaps the end of October, but his letter said Nov. 4th. The number of weeks don't add up. I'll pose a question to RTC to see where we can find out if Nov. 4th is accurate.

My son is also on ship 09 div 364.  Haven't received any phone calls yet but I got 3 letters last week.  Looking forward to graduation on 11/4.

Me too, Trevor's Mom. I would have thought we would have received a phone call on Sunday morning since that is their "personal time." Oh well, still keeping the phone close.

I finally got my phone call last night.  We talked for about 30 minutes.  He is doing alot better than in the beginning and is really starting to like it.  I can't wait to hear from him again!

Finally got a call tonight from my SR and talked for almost an hour. What a feeling! I am so glad he is doing great. They are on week 3.1 for those following and have been doing B.A.S.E.S. the past few days. They have really great RDCs and they are really being pushed towards excellence. Go Navy!

I got my call too!  I was so happy to hear his voice!  :)  He is doing great and sounded like he was loving it all!  (I can't believe it, but he is really loving it!)  He said he is learning a lot and being pushed in ways he never thought he could handle.  Can't WAIT to see him!  Praises!

I got my second call as I was driving our loud stick shift jeep so he was really hard to hear.    He had a hour of talk time so I had him call his dad once we were done.  I got some questions answered.  They will only get one more scheduled talk time and they don't know when it will be.  This one and the previous weren't on Sunday.  So I expect it anytime. He's doing a lot of paperwork.  He keeps insisting that his PIR is on11/8.  Today, 10/4/11, is week 3-1.  He says to expect another letter.

Maybe he needs to double-check his PIR date because from what I understand, graduations are always on Friday.  The next phone call will be after they pass Battle Stations and that is only a day or two before graduation.

Hi, My SR is in this same division. I know what you mean!!! I finally received that first phone call yesterday!  And finally received my first letters last Wednesday! Definitely be watching for area code 847! One more month until Nov. 4th!!
