Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 369 and 370

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Haha looks like there is no TonyN anymore.  Disappeared!

DIV 369 is in the Blood Drive pics and Div 370 also..... woo hoo best day ever!!

TonyN- there are 2 different PIR 11-06 FB groups... which I only found out this week.  Are you on both?

Loved finding my son in the pictures.  Took me a bit to quit crying though!!!!!  So happy to see the smiling faces and that they must have taken off their glasses so we could find them helped too!!!

I burst into tears when I saw mine too!  He looks awesome in his uniform!  Yes, so glad the glasses were off!  THIS MADE MY WEEK FOR SURE!!!

Mine had his glasses on.  I looked through first and had to go back through to look for him with glasses on, lol.  And yes, I too burst into tears, proud and missing him.

Thank goodness for these pics (at least for those of us who saw our SR's)!  I have my SR's individual picture as my screensaver on my phone so I can see him all day!

Ha, the glasses!  Mine didn't have his on, apparently he only wears them in class.

We officially have only 16 days left, can you believe it?  I have no doubt the time is going to fly by.
I bet you all that our SR's are much more positive and upbeat about everything at this stage in the game. They are so close....the time will fly by for them.   I'm sure they can see the light at the end of the tunnel now :)  I simply cannot wait to see the fine young Sailor that was once my baby boy when we left him at the airport before heading to boot camp.  I spoke to his brother last night (he is in A School there at Great Lakes) and he is missing his little brother badly.  They're only 13 months apart and although they didn't always act like it - they have always been very close.  That's one picture I cannot get out of my mind- a picture of both my boys in uniform :)  It's gonna be the best day ever :)  My SR has to fly out for A school, so we will have limited time with him. I will cherish every minute with both my Sailors and I have a feeling I will remember 11/6/15 for the rest of my life :).  Sorry for the long post...just feeling giddy this morning.  It isn't exactly as though my co-workers understand.

I can't imagine your excitement to see BOTH your boys in uniform TOGETHER!  I think you better get waterproof mascara!  (actually we all should!)  I get that co-workers & others around you don't understand... us Navy moms definitely understand like others can't  CAN'T WAIT TIL 11/06!!

Fingers crossed for a letter when I get home today :)

Hopefully everyone got a letter today.  If you did would you be willing to post some division information to fill in the blanks.  Some things may be more important than other things to the SRs.  Thanks!

I received a 369 letter on Wednesday....sounds like they are doing much better as a division.  Today (Friday) is their  6-1 day- final PFA is Monday (6-2 day).  They have earned some flags and kicked ass for drill inspection(s)...he said the RDC's told them they earned highest score they have ever had as RDC's for drill (4.91 out of 5.0).  Still getting "ITed" daily.....but used to it by now I'm sure. Excited just like us about PIR....they are counting down the days like we are.  I did get their BS21 date....don't want to post here- but PM me, or I'm sure one of the Admins can advise you also.  We should be getting their next scheduled call next Friday (Oct 30th)  which is their 7-1 day. Captains' cup is on Halloween :)  They did have steak & lobster for dinner on the Navy's Birthday :)  All in all, sounds like 369 is a whole different division than a few weeks ago.  My son said their RDC's told them the last week (week of Nov 1st) will be boring- since they will pretty much be finished by then.  They should be the first division to march in at PIR.  Said they are doing lots of PIR practice in the hall and they're rocking it!  All in all, just ready to BE DONE and hug their families :)  If we think we are bad as far as anxious and missing  them- I can only imagine they are 100 times worse than we are :)  ONLY 1 FRIDAY BETWEEN US NOW, MOMS!!
