DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

This may sound silly.....Please tell me I am not the only one who is having a hard time keeping track of everyone.....I know it's the names we use on this site. I feel like I am forgetting so easily, and probably repeating myself to some of you, so my apologies. I am on the FB PIR groups as well, so makes it even more confusing for me. I know we will have name tags at the Meet & Greet, so could we maybe put our "Navy 4 Moms" names on those also? LOL. How are we ever going to know who is who? I think it's quite comical. Maybe we should all wear a neon yellow scarf or something ? LOL Something to easily identify ourselves from the rest of the group who isn't on here.

Good Morning!

SMW729- so happy they told him that!  Such a load off!

TraG151- YAY for a phone call!!!  Been praying for that for a long time for you :)  Now will be praying for his medical tests, and peace for you here at home.

BatchMOM- are you talking about the pictures of them giving blood?  Those are the only ones I saw, so I'm wondering if there are more pics somewhere!  The only comment I saw on those was for Div 368 which would be graduating the week before... Thanks!

Hey ladies I want you to know I pray every night for our sailors! Thank all of you for the information it is very helpful. Last night I thought I'd glance at the pictures on the navy training command Facebook page just to see and I found my son. Get your magnifying glass out and look at each one you might see yours too!

I will be praying that all goes well for your SR TraG151, and I am so excited for everyone getting calls.

Got my call from my SR! He is having some medical tests done please say a prayer for him they sent him off base today for some testing we will know by the 27th. He said it's getting easier but still having a hard time missing us. He is very upbeat about the testing. He said if we don't hear from him on the 27th then that's a good thing. Thank you so much everyone!

Just got a call from SR, I am so excited!  We got cut off in the middle of the call but he was able to tell me that medical said it should be easy to get his waiver.  I feel like a huge weight has been lifted.  Thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes.
