Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 427 and 428

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks for posting this. My SR is in Ship 9 Div 427.

My daughter is in the same Div. How are holding up? Have you got a letter yet from your SR?

We just received our letter and my SR is on ship 9 Div 428. We are looking forward to seeing him in November. Thanks for creating this group! We are looking forward to meeting a few of the families.

I received my sons letter that he is on ship 9 Div 428 but he did not put down his graduation date. Is it safe to say that his graduation is going to be November 8? Did your letter from your SR have the grad date listed?

My husband is the same ship same division and the date was Nov 8.

My said Nov 8th

same here

I can't wait till we get actual letters :( Like written from them - i am hoping possibly today since the other one came on a thursday but not getting my hopes up.

My husband is the same ship and division :)

Have been so blessed with the information from this group! My son is Ship 09 Div 428. I sadly missed his phone calls yesterday but thanks to the other posts was able to discover it was a good call! I will have my phone glued to my hip from here on out! Looking forward to grad day as well!

Can't wait to hear from my son! Haven't had a phone call yet. Do you know what his PIR date is? The letter I received was blank on the "grad date" line. Any feedback?

Nov 8th should be the date.  We are hoping that RTC will post the divisions in this PIR group this week.  When they do, we will post in the title of this PIR group.

Do the dates for PIR change on this site? Or do you think it's a fixed thing. I haven't heard of an official date yet from my son. Well, I haven't heard from my son at all actually. *sad* But no news is good news right?? That's my motto lately where my son and the Navy is concerned!! *chuckle* Anyway, I want to buy plane tickets for the graduation but a little apprehensive since he hasn't officially told me his grad date....just what i've seen on this site.
