Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 425 and 426
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

I still haven't gotten a letter, but he talked to my ex husband Saturday and somehow he missed getting caught in the wisdom teeth net. Is that just something they do? It seems like all these 18 yr olds are getting oral surgery!
my son told me they can call on saturdays, get mail everyday, but can only send out mail on sundays.. said their division got really reamed today because of a boy caught stealing spoons..... SPOONS? weird
Thank you for clearing up the letter thing! I knew there was some structure, but couldn't find a definite answer. Spoons, huh? That IS weird. Why in the world? Can't even guess unless it was a dare?
Just got off of the phone with my SR. He also got his wisdom teeth out.. ouch!! was great to hear his voice and that he loves it!! i had told him in a letter about this site and talking to other moms with kids in his division and he was asking if i knew their names. lol, i said i knew no last names, he said they knew no first names there lol... If anyone in ship 14, DIV 426 would like to private message me their sons name so i could let mine know that would be great. I told him i would try to fnd out :)
so so happy he called, absolutely made my night and gave me such a sigh of relief to hear his voice
congrats to all other moms who got a letter or phone call today!!!!
Hi Everyone;
My son is in Div 426. He will be an operations specialist. I believe he will remain at Great Lakes for A school. I received a letter from him 3 days ago, and a phone message that I listen to daily.I missed his call. He assured me that he is doing well. This waiting for letters and phone calls is like waiting for shipments of gold. I can't wait to see him at PIR.
I agree with you about how hard it is to wait for letters and phone calls. And I'm so sorry you missed a call. I feel like I've won the lottery after getting a call from my SR. I have not gotten any letters yet, but I'm hopeful one will come this week. I keep telling my SR that he doesn't need to worry about writing me if he is too busy or exhausted because I want him to focus on taking care of himself. But truthfully I don't really mean that! I really want a letter. Like you, I can't wait to see him at PIR.
Is anyone else staying at the residence inn? Booked ours today
We are staying there as well. :) (Navy Lodge)
I am getting SOOOOOOO excited ladies!!!!!
we have 2 that will have to watch live stream also :(
I have not heard anything from my son about it yet but they told him he might be grad and go to he said he would let us know when he got his orders but he has not been able to call for awhile and letters only come once a week so we expect to find out this week what his orders say.
anyone heard from their sr lately? i recieved a letter saturday. sounded as if 426 isnt really working together very well lately. Hopefully it has gotten better for them all.
