Welcome to the discussion group for division 823.
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the Main wWll as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there ladies!!!
Two letters :-(
I have two questions (rescue swimmer):
Do recruits get only one call during bootcamp? I got one call today and was concerned because my son had a stuffy nose and a sore throat. If he goes to the clinic, would he risk having his graduation postponed?
I appreciate your replies/comments.
Thank you so much for your response -- It made me feel better.
My son is in this division- we only got the I arrive call and three weeks ago we talked to him- but since then we have not gotten a call from him. I notice other divison were able to call. I do realize no call is good, that means he is working hard. Ugh! 11 more day cant come fast enough.
thanks for letting me vent. ; )
Hello LRNavy Mom,
Our SR is in the same div as yours. We received a text saying they were there and then we received the "I'm alive call", and just a few letters a week. I am sure they are really busy and looking forward to the day they graduate. I check on Navy for Moms from time to time to see if there is any other news from the div. I feel the same as you, we can't wait to see our SR. :)
Last letter I receive from my son was two weeks ago -- I have not received a call in two weeks -- Yes, I worry too but hopefully "no news is good news"
OMG - I just got goose bumps after reading your note and now I can't stop my tears from streaming down my cheeks.
I agree. The place goes wild when the 800 division marches in. I also agree with your opinion as to why the 800's enter last if you are thinking what I am thinking haha. We sat up in the bleachers and had a really good view of the ceremony and it was wonderful, even with the screaming baby right next to us. Ladies, enjoy next Friday. I hope to meet some of you, especially rescue swimmer moms, as I will be attending to watch my second "son" graduate (he's actually my son's best friend but he's been part of our family for so long that I consider him my kid). Have a safe trip.
Hey not fair. lol My son is in the 823 division. Now I really cant wait to see what you all are talking about. ; )
