Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 371 & 372.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I GOT A LETTER!!! Says they are few days behind, waiting on division to fill up.  But, now they can write home on Sundays.  He hadn't received my letters yet, but, was begging me to write ASAP!! I'm sure they are all lonely and homesick!!

I got a letter too! It just takes off so much pressure!  He said that it is hard, working 16 hours a day, but he is doing well!  As of his writing on 9/24, they have not received their letters yet.  Boy is he in for a big surprise when they do!

I am happy that you guys got letters! I did not get one today...heart is full of disappointment :-(  But hopefully my day will come very soon!

Maybe your mail is just slower than ours!! Just keep looking!! He said they are all writing. ANd now able to write every sunday.  ((HUGS)) to you!!

thanks for the HUG....I feel really hopeless today for some odd reason :-(  Really hoping that he does not think that I have not been writing to him...daily!!  I need for him to feel how much I miss and love him!  I am really hoping that I get a letter tomorrow...will make for a wonderful Friday!

Hang in there NickCMom, chances are high that he misses you just as much and hopefully you will get that letter tomorrow!  I know how it is to have the emotions go in waves and after 35 days from now, they can not escape talking to us!

I wonder, because they are behind, will they still graduate on time?

Yes they are in for a big surprise!! My son was wanting me to write him asap.... he's got a whole bag full of letters coming!!

We haven't received a letter yet - maybe today!  Glad you received one & to know that my son is in the same div - 371.

I'm not worried - I figure, no news is good news.  My son is exactly where he wants to be, so I'm thrilled for him.  We've written a few letters and included the sports news - that's what he really wants to know!  He'll be so happy that Cabrerra won the Triple Crown!  I know we'll get a letter sooner or later.  Content, because my son is happy and working hard!

Okay, we got a letter on Saturday! Now I can't wait to get another.  He sounded good and likes his bunk mate - no name given.  His ankles are blistered pretty bad, but food is good and he really misses us.  He also said he was sorry he didn;t pay attention when I tried to teach him how to make his bed, do laundry and press his clothing - haha.  I'm going to frame that!!

Has anyone in div 372 rec any mail at all? Anyone? Just curious.....
