Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 371 & 372.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

And, yes my son called from the NEX also.
I missed my SRs call because I was so busy at work :( I actually saw it ringing and had to silence it. My heart broke when I heard his voicemail later. I wish I just would have answered it even though he said he only had 3 minutes to talk anyway. It would have been the best 3 minutes I've had in a long time.... :(
Got another letter from our son. He is doing quite well. He seemed pretty excited that they were working on their flag and he got to put his drawing of an anchor and their core values on it. Said he was helping them all with their drawing. He is an excellent artist. I can't wait until Nov 9. Gosh, it already seems like it's been forever!
Do you think they will get to call us again tomorrow?
hi all! Im trying to find out if any of the SR's that my son has mentioned in his letters have family on this site. The first 2 letters of their last names are BA, CO, LA - please private message me if this may be your SR!! My SR says they are friends ;) Glad to see these kids are bonding together im sure it makes it easier for them!
Hi Jenny! My fiance is in the same div and he shipped out Sep 17th also! I'm sorry I know nothing about corpsman A school but I did find this https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/hm.pdf My fiance had a similar paper for his rating. From what I read, they usually let sailors in A school come home for the holidays for at least one week if they want. I don't believe it's that hard to be approved as long as some stay behind so it should be true. I think you should definitely go to PIR. I heard it's awesome and unforgettable :D
I wonder if they're friends? Hmmm....maybe I'll meet you there! Are you going to PIR?
They probably know each other at least :D I'm definitely going to be there. Are you going to any of the Meet and Greets? I'm going to try to attend Sarge's.
Hey Ya'll!!! Check out the Navy Recruit Command site. They have posted new pics, dated Oct 16, and I think I see "USS Triton" flag ,Div 372, on the first pic.!!!!! Or I am just hoping..... to get a glimpse of my son :-)!!!! There are 31 pics that were added. Maybe ya'll can find your SR :-)
Hi guys! I got a letter today, thank goodness. Fiancee is going to A school in Texas for Hospital Corpsman....anyone else?
