Haha I've been working out a lot too. My SR said they have been eating super super healthy. He said he's already lost a lot of weight. For dinner he eats fruit and veggies!! He used to never touch those kinds of food. Haha it makes me laugh. He's a burger and fries kind of guy. But looks like that's changed...
Agreed Juliette, I am so excited to just see him and talk to him, it makes me totally giddy. I am also working out like a fiend to try to be in top shape when I see him, because I KNOW he's going to be, lol. I need someone to come play RDC at my house!!
You know what's going to be really exciting about PIR? More importantly for all the wives/girlfriends out there - we all go through that "honeymoon" phase...and yeah, it ends at some point - but after 2 months of no contact, and seeing them again...just thinking about it gives me crazy butterflies...like, the way I felt on our first date, or when I first met him....THAT alone helps me stay happy and soooo look forward to what's in store when we see them!! :)
I've thought about making shirts too, I've also spent alot of time trying to find the "perfect dress" for PIR. I'm just so excited to see my husband again! We've only been married a short time but we've been together for 11 years, the longest we've gone without talking before this was 2 days. I'm missing him so much, but I'm so proud of him!
mommom: As long as it is in "good taste," you can put whatever you like on the tshirts! :-)
Juliette, pretty much hon, we are at the mercy and needs of the Navy, something we will get used to (I hope) but A school will be easier when they have access to phones and email. Snail mail stinks but better than nothing. Take care PIR isn't that far away!
Symone, it's hard! But you're right....we're almost half way there. I just have to stop staring at the calendar and counting the days. We aren't even guaranteed a call so I might as well just stop obsessing. It's just so frustrating after almost a whole month of not talking - letters are good, but a call would be MUCH better. Karen, hopefully he gets a call, but as I've noticed with this navy stuff, im not keeping my hopes up....you always have to set yourself up for disappointment.
Juliette, almost halfway mark. I keep telling myself that when this is over we will think it went by so fast, but it sure does not feel like that at the moment. Your strong enough to do this, we all are, maybe today will be your SR's divisions day to call.
