Hi all! This is a discussion I've started for the families with recruits in Ship 2, Div 952. Of course anyone can join, but this will help those of us in this specific group get to know each other.

Update: I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on the 19th of December. He is definitely the best Christmas gift I could ever ask for =)
Hello to All!!!
Heather, Congrats on the wee boy coming!! How exciting for you!! Diego and Kels never had any issues while in base housing. Sorry to hear that, hoping the move goes well though!!
Diana, Congrats on the upcoming wedding in December!! How exciting!! Diego and Kels got married on the 22nd while he was home last year. We planned in a short seven weeks and that includes the wedding shower. lol
Diego and Kelsey are now stationed in Norfolk. They moved right before Labor Day. Diego was taken out of the Nuke program and totally screwed over, truly isn't doing what he would want to do, but gets a paycheck. We went down to SC in July for a week and had a great time with them and other friends. From what we know now they will be home for Christmas break which is good. Diego will be going out on deployment next spring, so it will be good to have him home to visit everyone. We really miss them, hard to let them go and grow up!! lol
Great to read how some are doing!! Keep up updated on the happenings with your Sailors!!!
Update: Sailor is still in Nuke school and hanging in there. We are planning to move off base housing because i just don't feel safe there... too much suspicious activities that have me wake up to every noise. We found a nice little gated community and practicing with packing all over again =) I found out I am having a baby BOY this December! *yay for sailor jr* I can't wait! We have 6 more months here in SC before we find out if he is going to NY for prototype or staying here. Hoping to stay here but wont complain if we move again. At least my practice in packing/moving will improve by then lol. Or i'll just let the Navy pack and move everything...
Hey ladies! Anyone still check in out here? Well, just in case....some new on my end. Charlie is being stationed stateside for the next 3 years - much to his dismay. The bright side (for him) is that he reconnected with this high school sweetheart and they plan to get married in December. YIKES!!! This is not the same girl that he was dating during boot and until just recently which makes me a bit happier, but YIKES! December of this year???? AGGHH!!!! I'm hoping to meet her this Thanksgiving at least. She is very nice and we get along on Facebook so I guess in their world that's all that matters.
Any news out there with you all? Diana
Heather, Wow!! Congratulations!!!!!! I hope all goes well!!
Diego is ready for some shorter hours that is for sure, as I am sure everyone is. Diego is into his truck and has learned so much about trucks and glad he was able to take a look at Ben's. His brakeline went out the other day, hoping he can get it taken care of this week. Not fun for him and Kelsey at all. That is one thing that is hard to have them so far away, we aren't there to help.
Take care and keep in touch!!
Ben graduates on June 3rd and will class up for power school early August also. I know Ben and Diego were in the same class before the ETs and EMs split up a few weeks ago. He was even able to look at Ben's truck when it broke down one day.
I know the guys are excited about graduating soon and being on T-Track for a good while. They deserve a good break after all the hard work they've been putting in.
I received some great news last week that Ben and I will be having our first child in late December =)
