WooHoo!!! Many calls were made today! We received one from our son and it truly is a blessing from God!! My daughter and I were sitting in Olive Garden having some dinner and the phone rang. I saw the area code and told her, "It's Diego." We got up and ran outside, I told a waiter to let our waiter know that we would be back, we have to take this call!! It was so good to hear his voice, he sounded great!! He said the division works well together and the RDC's aren't too bad on them. He also said we should be getting some mail soon and if we were writing. I told him he will get lots of mail!! We can't wait!!
Hey! Glad you got the call. I missed the call I was at an evening service at church. But I have talked to him 3x this week because he needed additional information for some paperwork. I know his girlfirend was happy because she was able to speak to him yesterday. She said he is doing great he passed his swim. She said he has not received any mail from us. I know he will have a lot when he starts getting it .
Y'all are so fortunate to have gotten calls!!!!! Great that the division is working well together! Dennis' is 370, hoping they are, too. Good to hear the positive reports coming out of RTC.
Glade to here all are good. My poor guy has been sick with a cold and they were gonna take him to the Dr's. He's doing fine other wise..he called his GF and she called me so hopefully next time will be my turn...
I do hope he feels better soon, that is not fun at all for him. :(
When he called he said that he also got promoted to E2 Ship crew anyone else?
My son took E-2 test during Processing Days & will hear results week five sometime. Fingers crossed!
Congrats!!! My son went in as an E-3 due to his job. So, not sure what testing he will be doing in regards to ranking.
The processing test is not just that, they have to also pass all the PFA's and grad on time. My daughter did great on that test, since she failed her pfa then went to ship 6 and did not grad on time she lost that as well as her rate for section leader. She would have been E-3 : (
If they seem to be having an issue with the PFA (which as my boy said that no one really was) they need to try very hard. They will work with them and have them run FIT on Sat. afternoon or morn forget which time and this gets them to where they need to be.
My understanding is that 369 is gonna kick some butt. they work well together. He said they are a pretty good bunch.
Thanks for more info. So far he's passed PFA, and hope it keeps going well. So sorry to hear about your daughter, glad she got through it. Since reading your earlier posts my biggest fear is illness or injury. I just keep praying he's as tough as he's been in the past & won't have any set backs. DIV 369 ROCKS!
Would have to agree with you! DIVISION 369 ROCKS!!!!!
I too agree..my son who they call Florida said he has made some great new friends and really likes that they all are working together as 1 unit...The only thing I was worried over was when he told me about the blisters on his feet but still passed his PFA. He said his feet are healing but it is a pain!! He has never worn boots..here in Fla. it is either flipflops or sneakers year round!!
