Amen!!!! Okeemom!!! Also a suggestion given by tobianne, if your worried about fire hazard try to find blue light bulbs..... Shouldnt be hard since stores already have christmas stuff out:)
WOOHOOO!!! We are getting so close now!!! It is so exciting!! Our friends son just PIR'd on Friday morning and she called me this morning to tell me all about it. We are in for a wonderful day and we get to see our Sailors. She said to bring plenty of kleenex because the second you see their division walk through the doors, the flood gates open. So, we are in for a blessed time not only with each other, but with our awesome Sailors.....
I am so glad you had a great weekend, & Diego was with you even though he wasn't there. So glad he's supported & his name being announced brought cheers and ovation. You must be feeling better these days proud Momma!
Thanks so much Heather! I am doing better even though we haven't heard from him since last Wednesday. It actually takes me a few days to digest things and feel better. I got on my knees last week and prayed to God to take all the stress away. It has helped as I can't do this alone. He is my rock and savior!
That is so true..If it weren't for my God..I would be a quivering, scared mom! I lean on Him so much!! He is my rock through my son & I separation..I praise Him every morning that we have gotten this far!!
Amen and Amen!!
Hello Everyone, been out of town without access for a few days and missed you guys. While it was so nice to get away and my sisters planned the weekend halfway through boot camp as a diversion, they are wonderful. The strangest thing happened. I am kind of surprised that my sisters try to understand what this feels like but somehow they just don't get it a hundred percent like you do. So thank you again everyone you will never know how much this means to me. They all keep trying to be supportive and tell me over and over again " its exactly what he wanted and they are so proud of him, it will be the best thing for him. He is such a smart guy they know he will do well and succeed". While I couldn't agree more with them and know in my mind they are correct I still can't help but sometimes feel scared for him, and unable to help him which I am sure now is a normal reaction but wouldn't be the same without all your support. Anyway I am so happy to be back and see everyone so excited about PIR. I missed you all and just wanted you to know it was difficult to be without access. Good News while I was out of town my son called his older sister last week and with the hormones that come along with a 6 week old baby she couldn't of been more excited to hear from her little brother. God knows where to send him when he is needed. The sound of his voice made a world of difference for her.

Sharon what a wonderful Homecoming Game, what a fantastic tribute to not only your SR but your entire family. That is awesome news thanks so much for sharing.
Glad you were able to get away and how nice of them to do that for you. Glad you have you *home* again! It is a great little home, no matter where you are. We are now a military family and there is no way around that. We understand each other, our dreams, our fears, our children, our sorrows, our joys. We are here for each other and we understand ones feelings. How cool that your SR called his sister and give her that joy of his voice as she is learning to be a great mom! God is good, all the time!!
We recieved a letter from Diego today and he won't be flying to S.C. until 17 November. that means we get him all three days. He will have to report back each night, but that is o.k. we still have him each day and that will be so exciting. We will be doing what he wants to do, so we are being very flexible. It will be so good to see him. He said they received their dress blues and we know they will look awesome wearing them. We will be heading out by 7:00 A.M. and stopping to pick Kelsey up from college, she is on the way. It should take us about 6 hours with gas and potty stops. It will be so good to see him, touch him, talk to him. He didn't say anything about getting phone calls restored, so we can assume they didn't get them back yet. I truly hope that those that have caused it realize how important the calls were and have stopped talking. It hurts them and us too. It is their lifeline besides the letters. Can't wait...........getting closer!!
FYI: Diego told us that 369 is Number One Division and if they stay there they will be Hall of Fame!!! How cool is that!!
HOOYAH!!!! I knew our boys were awesome!
I know Kyle told me that the RDC's were pushing them to be the best., He will miss that. He said on the phone, "mom I was always on the winning team. I wish this time it could be that way." He is happy for the guys in the div. He said they will take many if not all flags. lol
