Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

Diana - Bummer, I do hope your husband gets to come somehow even for a short time but I totally understand about work sending you places at inconvenient times. Is your Div. also on 11/4 ?
We should be getting a letter tomorrow which reminds me I need to get one out.
Talk soon
He's still up in the air about his travel plans. He leaves for one trip on 11/6, then home 11/8, leaves 11/9 then home either late 11/10 or early 11/11. It's the second trip that is causing the challenge. I know my son will be disappointed but will completely understand.....
Thank you i did see that but wanted another source too...now i got it! I hope the rumor is true ;) Wouldnt it be great if they could choose...then we'd all get what we wanted :D
L/P - Now is that the Navy way? OF COURSE NOT !
Can I ask what the rumor is? Being on this side of the country I am missing out on some of the discussion. Thanks.
Idaho - the post from litlepig11 says IT'S ONLY A RUMOR but all Div.'s will be Grad-n-Go. Remember it's only a rumor at this point. You are NOT on the other side of the country !!!!! Sometimes we get to chatting quickly if we get letters or phone calls and so we can share information. Just read everything and you will be caught up.
I am trying to read everything. I really am! O.K. I guess I need to look up Grad-n-Go. I get it that it is just a rumor but didn't someone say that their recruit thought it was true?
Oh my, got a letter today and it's the shortest yet. He did not even mention ONE thing about what is going on there. All he did was comment on stuff going on we told him about in our letters. Just such a change, it's interesting. He said he told people about the Navymom site and one guy came over and said they were practically family. :^) HA, HA. !!! The gal is on our site so will need to let her know. So, we are making an impact. ♥
