OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi all!  This is a discussion I've started for the families with recruits in Ship 2, Div 952.  Of course anyone can join, but this will help those of us in this specific group get to know each other.

what site did you go to to print it out?
copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

you will then see "get gate pass" next to Friday November 12th, click on the link and then it will ask for your password.
I guess I will have to try another computer cause mine is being stupid and won't load any of the sites. Thank you for your help on this josteph.
No problem. I'm glad to help. It might help that I used Internet Explorer. Some other browsers might not accept it when opening up the website.
They all look the same from the back! AGHH!!!! Why do they tease us like this?
They do all look the same! My husband wears glasses, but I still can't tell. Bummer.
Hey I see one who looks like my son, too. Thanks for the photo. Maybe we are both wishful thinkers, but I don't care, it makes me feel closer to him.
I can't tell if Nick is in there or not. He said he has lost so much more weight. I don't know if I will recongize him at PIR even.
I looked and looked and thought I saw my son several times, but I can't tell for sure! WHAAA. :)
I received a letter from my son dated 10/27. He said Tuesday, the 9th is when he thought Battlestations would be. He also said the gas chamber was Monday this week, the 1st. Has anyone else gotten the same information?
I thought the gas chamber was during hell week? At least that is what I've seen in a lot of past comments. I hope I get a letter from my husband. (He never mentions much of what they do, I think he doesn't want me to worry).
I'm hoping for a letter when I get home today! I had read somewhere that 952 was going Sunday...but now I can't find where I read that. This is driving me crazy! I thought my son said in a letter I got last week that the gas chamber was last Friday. Why can't our guys get their stories straight? LOL
