OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 6/23/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED -  Vaccinations still required

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

I have a very special favor to ask all of you... my fiancee is playing with the marching band and this Friday will be her first PIR out of the three, she graduates on 11/24. The big favor is, would you be kind enough to take some pictures of the marching band for me? it seems that nobody takes pictures of them :(
I would absolutely appreciate if anybody could take some pictures and share them with me.
Thank you so much and I've very excited for you all!!
Daniel, I will take a ton of pics. What does she play?
Thank you so much!! :) she plays the oboe.
I am at work, so couldnt reply until now. I will take pics too! And zoom in on that special oboe player!!
awwww thank you so much!! I really appreciate that!!! :)
So happy for the other divisions that passed, but now my anxiety is on high. I didn't know I could feel so many emotions all at once!!
My blue candle is lit! (they are now 1 hour ahead of me now I believe)
Just wolfed a I feel like puking! AGHH!!!!! (Sorry, too graphic?)
Not at all ! I feel the same way! My stomach has been in knots all damn day!
Mine is lit too! I feel so anxious!! And I'm not even going through it ! Today in my classroom, we practiced what they should do if my phone rings tomorrow! HA I hoep my principal doesn't come in right then, although he is awesome. But No Child Left Behind doesn't mention anything about battle stations, so I feel it's a special case.
My candle is lit too. Have not been on tonight. been toonervous to see all the chatter of the other divisions. Lots of prayers to our boys tonight.
I'm with you ziggy - my phone rings and all work stops! Actually, I'm leaving the office at 2pm today just so I don't miss the call! My cell reception in my office is terrible!
