I got a final letter too saying how he doesnt like being waken up so suddenly so we usually wakes up about 10-15 mins before they start yelling for people to wake up. well since he wakes up early he say someone in the office messin with the ipod and over the loud speaker they were playing Ke$ha- Tick Tock hahaha he said you should never think 80 something guys would enjoy waking up to Ke$ha and dancing while getting ready lol

My Sailor mentioned alll the time how FUN bootcamp was and he wants to do it again lol...

I come home today and find my 'final' letter from my sailor. lol. Apparently Ben was in a horrible mood, wanted some sleep one night and threatened to write names to the Chief the next morning (empty threat of course). Well, everyone wanted to teach him a lesson and ended up tying up his shoes to his rack. LOL
Something like that would have pissed him off but it just lifted his mood and ended up laughing. So thank your boys for me =)

Graduation was wonderful! My son spotted us first it was magical..... Was so nice to hug him... Our time together was great but much too short. Sad to say good bye on Sunday. He called us from the pay phone and talked to us till our plane took off. That was hard..... Today I was on my Face Book and pop up he came... I almost died it was so great:) I love modern Tech.... Sadly we will not get to see him for Thanksgiving . He said he will let us know when he has time off. Miss him much, but thank God for FB. He is at Pensacola. Hope to see some of u on that group. Sorry we did not make it to the M&G got in too late. This has been a great journey sharing fears and joys with everyone. God bless u all and good luck to u also Rita......

Hey everyone, our family had a wonderful time in GL and I was delighted to meet so many of y'all! I'm excited that Dennis will be going to nuke school with a bunch of familiar faces from his division and brother division. Tried to look at the pictures from the facebook page, but maybe I was doing it wrong, will try again. Main impression, for me as a mom: my son looked several inches taller, just from the Navy bearing he has acquired; he talks more maturely about things like life insurance, GI Bill for further education, future, taxes, things that real adults think about; heard from several of his div. mates that he helped while in boot camp by helping them with ironing their uniforms, or tutoring for tests -- so proud that he is learning it is not all about him, but working as a team. We came home exhausted because our flights home were interrupted by plane issues requiring changing planes and then finally having to stay overnight and fly out the next morning, but would not have missed it for the world. All my PIR 11/12 sisters and especially the 370s, love y'all and hope to talk soon.

Daniel - What instrument did she play?
Comment by Daniel on November 16, 2010 at 12:34pm
Yes, and she wasn't on those :( I think she was in the second row and the one there is just a close picture of part of the band with the yellow things (what's the name of that BTW?)
Comment by Daniel on November 16, 2010 at 11:09am
