Hi everyone!!! So happy to finally get to see my Sailor and enjoy our time with him. I am not looking forward to tomorrow but happy for the time we have had. Can anyone tell me if there is a place to rent a storage locker or something safe to keep his computer and Xbox until he actually attaches to A school? We brought it with us but he can't take it with him right now. Just wondering if anyone else has had to figure out this situation. Hope everyone is enjoying their time as much as we are!!!! Missed you Leslie. Sounds like you are having a great time with your sailor.

One told me they are able to leave up to 75 miles out for the weekend, while others say they can't leave. Ben thinks we will be moving that weekend! I am so confused, I just stopped asking questions and wait. Just making sure lol.

haha yes it is. Mine has gotten a new tattoo and gotten her hair done a few times. Been at the mall every chance she has gotten. To say the least she is basically living pay check to pay check!! lol Thank goodness they can go to the galley and eat!!

No its not that bad for her but she does spend wayyyyy to much money. I know I am always asked to please check my account for me. lol So I tend to ask more questions than I think she is willing to answer.

Believe me when I say there will be days when you are wondering how they can have so much time to call you and talk talk talk, lol. After A-school they move on to another place and if they are like my sailor they will call you tons. She got to the new base and was on hold for 4 weeks. She didn't know anyone and was lonely and very bored. She caled me and we would talk for 30 or 40 min 5 or 6 times a day lol. She also spent too much money at the mall. Boredom is expensive lol.

Dee- she is so right about both. The gift, and the spotty reception. I do more texting now than I ever have. Thank God I have a keybored on my phone! I love when she can go off base and have her phone with good reception. Now does this means she remembers to call me then? NOOOO, unless she wants something!! lol

diannep- I just spoke with Suzi from PIR 8/13 she says her boy is now more chatty than he ever has been, I told her Kay has become less chatty!! lol she is off and running all the time with her "new" buddies.
