Of course, they get all the thoughtful gifts too,lol but we are always there to pick up pieces & cook just the way they like it. I was glad my son didn't have a g f to leave behind. It's made this easier on me in some ways, but possibly harder for him.

Oh the G-F got the nice long call!! I raise him give him a roof and love lol and she gets all the info, oh well still I will always be momma and the (sorry G-F do not get offended here) one that he will come back to when life caves in on him. They all do. Momma's are here for life we never go away. lol Our love is unconditional, so a few calls longer to her do not make me mad. This way she will not drive me crazy asking if I know or have heard anything from him.

yes just got off the phone also. I got the 2 min I am alive and was SIQ all weekend so glad we did not call yesterday.

They always get the Holiday, they just do not always get to call on the Holiday... They may even get light Pt on Weds. It is the Navy Birthday. My daughter said they are not gonna PT at all and the Af still has to so she feels special. lol

Hooyah! They had 2 days of relaxed schedule. So they called today! Lots of wisdom teeth were removed this week which gave them 2 days SIQ (Sick in Quarters) & 1 day LD (light duty) for those who had them removed.. They got their dog tags and now jingle all the time. KG says their nightly prayers & keeps their morale up. They are having to work on bunk making, didn't pass inspection Friday, but their first test wasn't too bad. They get results Wed. HOOYAH to news & loving voices! Go 369!!!

Diana I am flying out of Orl, I am fine with that airport because its local and I know where it is I just didn't know which airport most people would be flying into for the graduation since there is more than one in the area up there

I'm actually flying out of Sarsota if that helps a bit more
Comment by Christina (EM Nuke gf 1111M ) on October 11, 2010 at 1:56pm
Okay thanks for the airport advice. I'm from Florida and have never been to Chicago, and I also rarely fly so I don't know the airport situations lol
