i miss my jake ! going to clean his room today that will be hard. his brother (16) dosnt seem to get it yet, he tells me mom jake is just in boot camp and he will be back. i think its going to hit him hard when he figures out jake is in the navy for 5 years. i know it was hard on me when my brother went in tha airforce when i was a kid. sometimes i still feel like he left me behind and that was 32 years ago lol.

You got a letter??? WOOOHOOOOOOO!! Maybe we will be all getting letters soon!! That would be so awesome!!

I have our "Blue Star Flag." IT came the day that Diego left for Boot Camp, he didn't know that he got it. I have a picture of it with the squirrel that came back and just looked in the house from the roof. No licks this time, it was cool to see him again though. I am feeling that our son is doing well.

Have you all got your "blue star flags"? You can get them at your local legion, or I went online and ordered mine.. they are free.. took about a week and a half to get it. Good way to show your support! Here is the link: http://www.mybluestarflag.com/freebluestarflag

My mail from Gl would come on Weds. I would get it before 11A then after the 2nd week of letters we got a different mailman (everyday) so I may get mail at 2,3,4,5,6P or maybe not even until Friday since I think the subs have do the job. I have had bills show up a week later and they are sent from downtown and that is 5 mins from my house. Crazy, make friends with the mailman. He will bring you smiles and awesome news. Dont smack him if he has no letter, lol.

Cleaning ha wait until they finish BS-21. They clean for the last week of BC. They get the ship ready for the next set of recruits coming in. My daughter said that was the only time she ever wanted to clean. She is now cleaning in A-school.

My son does not have a problem with cleaning, he is use to that from working with his dad. it is all about making the job look pretty when done. So if he is cleaning he will be alright.
