Nick's mom My son got there yesterday am for BESS. I've shipped his laptop & phone, but he found out today they have free computer usage, so he emailed today too. He's starting BESS 12/14 so has freedom & down time until then which is fine with him. Perhaps they flew out together yesterday am around 6. They had about 14 fly out together from Great Lakes. He doesn't think he'll make it home for Christmas :( so I hope he can buddy up with someone from around there or maybe come for a quick visit as he's worried about not having enough leave accrued & flights being awfully pricey. Have you heard from your Sailor? Is he going to BESS too?

is there anyone from this group that had their sailor report to Groton, Conn? Would love to chat with you if there is. I tried the Sub school group but there is no chatter on there at all.

Lindsey, you are so right! Diego and Kelsey have been talking like crazy! We shipped him his phone today so he should have it by Saturday. They are free men now, lol! Glad that K is good in P-cola and you can talk as much as you want. It looks like they will be on that path together too, not classing up until after the holidays. So good to know they have much more freedom and they are on land!

Yeah he is on hold until after Christmas too so he will be there longer than expected but its ok cause at least he in on shore and not going to get deployed anytime soon. I love bein able to talk and text him whenever i want!!! Thats wonderful!!!

The "Nukes" flew out yesterday from O'Hare airport about 7:00 A.M. and had a lay-over in Altanta before heading to Charleston. Diego called last night and they are so glad to be free from boot camp. It may take a while to class up, they have to have so many to start a new class. So, we will see how things go. Shipping things to him today, then he can call anytime he wants and text us too!! God is good, All the time!
