Ben called =) He is at the school now and loves it. He might be able to take liberty! But I told him to find out about the 75 mile limit before making flight arrangements. If he can't go outside the limit, i'll be driving up there instead. Now i'm just waiting on him to call back =)
I love knowing he is only 4 hours away and able to call!

Good idea tobianne- im sure someone can use it after he is done he will give it to someone who needs a phone. He will not actually arrive in p-cola until tonight. their flight leaves this evening so they are on liberty until their flight. so it will prob be tomorrow before they get all settled in and i get an address

wow. such great info from everyone hearing from their sailors! my sailor called me twice yesterday! once when left great lakes and arrived at o'hare, the second time was when he arrived to LAX to go to Port Hueneme for A school for Seabees. I still haven't heard from him today but I guess I may not get a call till tomorrow. Does anyone have a sailor that went to Port Hueneme?
Comment by Tobianne on November 17, 2010 at 2:15pm
No problem, if he has a cell phone at home, tell him to buy the least amount of mins. He can always add to that, but would not be stuck. Now Kayla actually gave hers to a girl that did not have one at all and was going to be on hold for about 3 weeks. So this is always a thought. He could give it to someone after wards. They should also have the address (if they are leaving today) by this evening. Latest would be tomorrow. They will get the dorms but this is just a formality. The address is actually a post office I think. I know Kays is. She only checks her mail once a week now. lol
