Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 009 and 010

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you!

Hello all, I have good news/bad news--my SR called me yesterday (GOOD NEWS!) to inform that he's been moved to PIR 11-22-13 and a diff ship/div so I'm going to join the 11-22 group and leave this one (BAD NEWS).  If you want to 'friend' request me, please do!  So stay strong fellow Navy Moms/wifes/GF's and pray for our SRs to endure this BC challenge!

Has anyone received a letter from their SR yet? Besides the form letter, I haven't received anything but he said he writes us everyday?.

They get to write but my SR said that they only take their mail "out" on Sundays.... so my guess is that you should have one super soon (today if the postal service is on their game) because they didn't take their mail till last Sunday.

I got my son's letter's TODAY!  Just a tid bit... he said that they have to take away from their sleep to write back and that (because of that) they only have red bulbs for light... so he said not to write in pink, red, or orange.

...and of COURSE every freaking letter I wrote but one... PINK OR ORANGE!  Sheesh.  You'd think he would have mentioned that when he called last week?!

I wrote in orange too. Thanks for the fyi

We got our letters yesterday!
