Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Hello, I have added this group as it appears the division has just been formed. Yeah for the Spec Ops div.

Things in this group will be a little different than the regular divisions and it is time to batten down the hatches for you.

I will let sjtina and Cor know this has just been formed so they can join you to help answer your questions. Everyone with a loved one in this divisions please change your personal settings to private right away.

While OPSEC applies to all members, you all will learn the fastest. :)

Thanks for establishing this group.  I think I'm supposed to be here.  My call yesterday just said he had been moved and they formed their division and changed graduation from 11/22 to 11/15.  Hoping to get confirmation on that and a new address tomorrow.

Hi all!  I hope I'm in the right place too!  Thank you so much for forming this group.  Need the new mailing address too!  I was so happy to hear from my son on Saturday. I hope he calls again soon.  This time I will make sure and confirm that his graduation date was moved up to 11/15. Couldnt think straight first phone call, too much excitement...lol

I can only guess at this point, but I would think they have probably been moved to ship 4. I would wait to change the address, but do use the new division number when sending mail, tat is what will get it to the right division regardless of the ship number. It may take an extra day or so for your letters to find your SRs, but they should still get to them. Hopefully one of you will hear soon.

Hi Ladies!  Thank you ellen0502 for forming this group.  Yes, it is very exciting to have the graduation date moved up a week!  I'll post for you guys if I receive letters sometime this week (my SR said the new address would be on there as soon as he's allowed to send mail) :)

Please double check with your SR or your SRs recruiter (they may not have updated info though) that they have indeed been moved to an 800 division and their PIR date is 11/15.

Hi Everyone! Finally got the call this morning from our son he was in this ship/division and his PIR date moved to 11/15. Yay!

Does the PIR date change often? Our date so far for my son is 11/15 also

kathierob, The PIR date has changed for some, they have been moved from the 11/22 PIR to this PIR. Evidently there were not enough Spec Ops recruits when this TG was finished, but with the arrival the following week there was, so they have moved them to this group from their original PIR.

Yay!  Hopefully that means 11-15 is going to stay :)

Good Morning Ladies!  I was just reading on this site that talked about PIR Liberty Rules.  I know EOD SR's go to Dive Prep School for 3 weeks and then FL.  Does anyone know if all of that is considered A School?  And that's when the Phase I, Phase II, and Phase II Liberty Rules start...  Just trying to get an understanding of liberty time and what communication will be like after these 8 weeks.  It might be a little early to think about all this, but I just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else had a similar thought!

Flowers, I'll try to get some answers for you when my son gets home tonight..
