Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 007 and 008

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I don't think Incan make it to the meet and greet ... My sissy is flying in and I have to get her from the airport... Maybe I'll send my hubby to get her and come and meet all you lovely ladies

You have to come!!  Honey can pick up sister :)

Talked to my husband this morning.  I forgot, he set up a car service for my sissy!  He's such a sweetie!

Aw, that is perfect so you do get to go to the meet and greet

Hello!  I received two letters today and they were very upbeat.  On the 18th they had their first team event and my SR says that they kicked butt.  He said that this day they became a team.  He is really excited.  Two days later he told me that one of the recruits in the division messed up and he had to do push-ups.  My SR dropped and started doing the push-ups with him.  The guy next to my SR asked why he did that and he told him, "When one fails, we all fail."  Then he dropped as well.  Eventually the whole division dropped and started doing push-ups.  He said that it was a great moment.  This is so awesome!  Our SR's are working together finally!  I know I've read earlier and my SR said that they were not working together well at all.  Two of his buddies wrote a little note in the letter as well.  He says it's boring.  All they do are drills and inspections.  This week they are firing weapons and next week they are learning firefighting.  Hope you all get letters!!

It's so great to hear they're pulling together! Thx for sharing that news!

So happy to hear that all is going so much better.  My SR says they are so close to earning their flags I guess they need a 4.0 as a group on their test and the last test they got a 3.95 they were taking their second test yesterday.  Hope they did well.

Yes.  Maybe that will earn them a phone call!  I'm keeping my phone with me just in case!

I hear ya, although I was getting nervous at the beginning of the week with all of those that were being sent home, I didn't want a phone call!!

James told me he got a 4.8 on the first one.

Hello ladies, I just want you to know that I just spoke with my SR and got 008's Battlestations date, if you want to message me I will give you the date.

Hi Angie,

I sent you a friend request. Is the date for Battlestations the same for 007 as 008? I didn't realize that there was this group until today I have been on the for the all the groups and found no one on Ship 13 Div 007 from San Diego.  Have a great day!
