We are here for you!! I so understand the whole not getting letters. Other than the two I got yesterday, I only had one letter and one call for this entire journey - most of my info has come from this site and I am SO GRATEFUL for you all, my sisters :)
Hang on! We are getting there. I can't wait to meet you all and make all those connections. You all are the best!
Hello!! I'm new to this forum and my name is Teresa my son is in with your loved one.. My son called today and I told him that I had seen your post and he said that he knows him and that he is not getting your letters but HE is going to let him know that I saw you here and that you are doing fine and not gone.. I also told him that I beleived that you were planning on being at the PIR if I remembered your post correctly.. Keep your head up and your spirits we are all here looking out for each other and I have hopefully looked out for you.. Take CARE..
I am so sorry! I didn't mean to cause you more worry!!
It isn't the Division as much as it is him - he is a perfectionist by nature and he is stressing about making it through. Knowing him, he is probably doing fine but it is killing me to know for sure. He could just have had a bad day, homesick, who knows? The first letter was good, positive and full of pride in what he has accomplished, but the in the second he sounded really down.
I have always been there to help him keep perspective, talk things through and even though he is quite capable to do it on his own, that momma bear thing keeps rearing its head on me. I am having a hard time not being able to talk with him.
12/004 They are calling.. My son sounded good and spirits were up from the last time that we spoke..
