Hello ladies, happy to say I got my second letter in 2 days. And this one was better then the last. She returned another one of my silly surveys. But she is so good about answering all my questions that just to see her writing and personality in her letters is wonderful..
On a note to division 005 families our recruits have turned up the fire on their efforts to earn flags, they now have the following - "A" flag for athletics. Star flag for WTI/Zone inspections. Crossed cutlass & gun for drill flag. and yellow pennant for "Independent streaming" meaning as a division, they can walk around without an RDC.

Puffy's adventures continue - My girl's mom got a letter, seems my girl has been craving fast food, so I thought I would try and find her at one of the local places. Yum, love those french fries. Wish me luck.

Ok Ladies, Need some prayers from all of you wonderful moms.
I got a letter from my daughter today. It about broke my heart at the helpless feelings my daughter is having because of some of the things going on in her division. To explain briefly, one of the recruits in her division received a message from the Red Cross. Apparently her younger brother had committed suicide and my daughter was the first person she shared the news with. Well my girl also has a younger brother and so she started to cry because she knew how devestated it would be if it was her brother. Well the recruit left GL the next morning and came back 5 days later. Unfortunately they took her out of BC on Sunday in an ambulance. Apparently she had been cutting herself since her return. My daughter was so upset in the letter, it had me in tears, She feels like she should have been about to help her in some way, but they had been kept so busy that they hadn't had a chance to talk. From what my daughter said she did at one point go to the chaplain saying she had to leave NOW. It is so sad and my daughter is crushed by this event.

My girl who is in div005 says that they have battle stations on 18-19 (W6D5) and that she would be calling us on the 19th. Cutting it a bit close for my taste. Barbara that is a very kind and generous gesture about the magnets. Thank you so much.

That's great steph. lucky you. other then a letter on Monday, we haven't heard from her in quite a while. We knew this would be a tough week for her, just wish we would hear something. As the education officer she has to help others study for those last 2 academic tests and she was so stressed to meet the expectations of her RDC's.
