Thank you OBand and JulieR. Those that are traveling from outside the area really appreciate you taking care of things. We all need to make sure we come up with some kind of name tags so that we not only know each others name but our on screen names and our sailors too. Yeah!!! they will be sailors by the time we all meet for the first time.

That works great. That way when we do get into town we will only have one place to go and not miss the chance to meet all you wonderful Ladies. I am getting so excited it is so hard not to be distracted at work.

Re: Meet & Greet...I am glad to hear you are not picking Flanigans. I hear many PIR events have been held there and the comments were not positive regarding the food or service. Overall...not quite what was expected.

We are coming in from the west coast and we will not land in Milwaukee until 5:50 on Thursday so I will not be able to be in charge, although I would have been happy to be. I know that the Ramada automatically holds one for all PIR families from I believe 6-8pm weither or not you are staying there you are welcome to attend. Most groups go elsewhere after the Ramada or in addition to it. So it will need to be someone who will be in and settled before Thursday night arrives.

Yes Chaeladiane, my girl said that yours did a good job on the flag and is rooting for her to complete BC successfully. I heard that a group did not graduate in the last PIR group.

I got a great newsy letter from my recruit today. She filled me in on a lot of things that have been going on in her division. She explained that her division flag was designed by chaeladiane's daughter and has a modern wizzard of OZ design with the scarecrow, tinman and the Lion representing their RDC's and the navy motto Honor, courage and committment.
Ok this is the schedule rundown for both div 005 & 006-
Thursday starts Hellweek 4am wakeup, 5am PFA (Fitness test) test, later same day personal inspection and WTI (weapons turnover inspection)
Fridaythey have another pre-5am wake-up and while they are at small arms familiarization, someone will be in their compartment for a zone inspection - this is the fluff and fold inside their racks, even the stenciling of their names on their gear. During small weapons they will have a lesson and use the simulator. No live fire until next week. Nov. 4th is the next BIG test. My recruit says it is a lot of information to remember in such a short time.
Tomorrow is the USS Marlinspike where they will practice man overboard procedures. Hope this helps ladies.
