To all about the "guy writing thing" ~ I use to leave my son notes on the kitchen counter, as we seemed to have many days that he was gone by 5:00AM, or he was in classes, etc. when I returned home from work. I would leave wonderful "I love you, Mom" notes. But...they usually had some task or request involved ~ LOL If I did not print them, he would tell me that he could not read my handwriting ~ so the task would not be completed. LOL again! I started printing the notes. Again, when the task was not completed, he would respond with, "There was no note. Motor (cat) must have taken it!" Now I am reading his printing perfectly and printing or typing all of my letters and cards...all containing "I love you, Mom." Since there are no notes for Motor to take...he is now eating my plants! Have a great week ~ kk

Thank you to all of my friends on N4Ms! Your kind thoughts mean a lot to me.

Help me help you! At 11:00AM (EST) today, I will be having lunch with approximately 15 Navy For Moms members that are in all phases of their family member's Navy career (from DEP to deployed). If you have questions that you would like asked, information clarified, etc. Please send these questions to me through the private message option (click on your inbox and "compose." It will be easier for me to print and take along, and some questions may be of private nature. One of my first inqueries will be about our upcoming PIR, as some have recently experienced this. So come on! Help me help you! ~ kk
