kimbokatbo and JulieR He had one tat when he went in. They have to get permission to get them now. I think this latest is going to be in an ink magazine. I can't imagine how many hours and dollars it took! I saw the 75% completion - ouch! Then a 100% completion on picture FB. I was not a fan of them - but now that I am old (LOL) it is so immaterial. We expect him home sometime after March 26th. He plans to join the crew team at the university and has a lead on a different job than the one he left. : ) ~ kk

JulieR ~ Is the DVD of PIR any good? Can you see the flag performers in total? I have been bad and not ordered it yet.

That is fabulous!!! Puffy seems to be expanding his horizons. When we took the trip to GL he even received his wings from the Flight Attendant on board. I'm so glad it brought up a good memory for your daughter.
Aub will graduate "A" school on Friday before waiting for her "C" school to start. She has to wait for her clearance to go through, which could take a while. And today she is celebrating her 1st birthday so far from home. Wish we were there.

JulieR Hey Julie! Our young adult children are FB friends! So I guess tats are very very Navy! Ask your daughter about the new tat on her 901 Corry Station FB buddy. My comment was very near, "I carried you for 9 months - high risk - 15 hour labor - and you did this? LOL I can't wait to have my creative son home. Have a wonderful 2010!

DAVIDSmom ~ I owe you an email. Talk about hectic. I have been working on the same class and projects since 9/2009. I finished it yesterday : )

My son will finish A School the end of March and should be home the beginning of April. He should be back in college by August, unless he enters for summer semester. I spent three days with him in Pensacola, Florida this month. Due to the cold, our fishing plans changed - but we had lots of chat and meals. He never knows what to expect when he receives packages from Kohl's (nice bed pillow & blanket), Amazon (books, books, books), or his favorite online shoe source. I love getting those free shipping emails! It will be interesting to see how the Reserve works in the scheme of the degree completion plan. We will see : ) ~ kk

kimbokatbo ~ Wow! We expect our son home about 4/1. He will be back in college the summer session of maybe the fall. I am leaving on 2/13 to visit him in Pensacola for 3 days! Tell the family I said "Hello!" ~ kk

Well ladies, it looks like I will be doing this whole adventure all over again. My son will be leaving for Boot Camp just over a year after his sister. At least I will know what to expect. Looks like it will be Thanksgiving in GL for our family. Our sailor will probably be deployed by then. But we can only hope.
