Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 011 and 012

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is in this group. I would love to connect with others who have kids in this group!

Hi Debra Navy mom, my name is plantlady and although my SR daughter is not in your son's group (she is in Ship 11 Div 15), I thought it would be nice simply to connect. I too would love to find others in my SR's specific group and have posted in that discussion group, but no luck yet. Anyway Hello!

I just keep checking every day in hopes of hearing and seeing something!! I did get a call from him last Sunday...Made my day. Have you heard from your daughter?

Hi! My son is in  Ship 03, Div 011. He's headed to Nuke school in Goose Creek. Anyone else have Nuke's in this group?

My son is ship 3 division 11. He goes to Pensacola for A school. I talked to him last Sunday, he said he loved it and the food was good. But I still miss him something terrible.

Hi Collin's mom, my son is in Div 12 and is going to Pensacola also. He called last Sunday and it was so good to hear his voice. Amazing how that can sooth a moms heart and settle many fears!! We are staying at the Navy Lodge. We get in on the 18th and will stay over the weekend. I'm hoping that he will have Saturday... but we will see. Hope to maybe meet you.

My son is on your son's ship and division and is also going to Pensacola for A school!  He will be studying communication...what is your son going for?

I am missing him so much too...this has been much harder than I thought it would be.  And my son is not a kid...he's 25!

Yeah same group... Yes Pensacola but he is Air Crew... My son will turn 23 on the 11th. He seems much older... old sole!!!  I tease him to just think that the veterans day celebration is for him... no one needs to know!! We are staying at the Navy Lodge getting in Wed. night.

My son will be AE or AT.

Sorry, I'm not on here much, I found the FB pages to get around easier than this website. Although this website is great, I just get around faster on the FB  pages.

Just found this group. My son is also in this division and will be headed to Pensacola for A school. Can't believe we are only 28 days out.
It's getting closer!
My SR got to call home this morning!!!! He is SHIP 03 DIV 011. I hope everyone gets to talk to their SR today!!
