Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

WELCOME to PIR 11/21/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the timeto read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Comment by Mikesnavymom on April 29, 2013 at 12:31pm: Clownmom Ship 13, Div 011...it's official. He will be going to Bahrain in May. He graduated from A school in March as an AO. I am a nervous wreck but he is still very excited about going. He will be spending some time in Florida with some of his family before coming home to NY and shipping out. Looking forward to seeing how much he's changed since bootcamp!!

Comment by vballmom on March 22, 2013 at 5:27pm: Our son is still in Great Lakes also. Ship 12 Division 010. He finished an ATT class and now started his A school about two weeks ago. We are going out for a visit as well over the Easter weekend. Can't wait to see him again!!

What an adventure your sailor has in store. Wonder where other are from this group? My son is still in school in Great Lakes. We will be visiting him next weekend for Easter. Hope all is well for the rest of your sailors.

Hopefully, he will be able to come home before deploying overseas. Boot camp was bad enough, but Bahrain is in the Persian Gulf. I am one anxious Navy Mom!!

He is back at GL's going to ATT class, then i guess hisA school will start after that, which will be at GL also. Don't know when we might see him again, but being able to communicate by texting is awsome. What would we do without that! Receive the Keel the other day also, his grandfather was really impressed with that. Looking forward to getting the graduation dvd. Take care everyone!
