WELCOME to PIR 11/21/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

pinkpuddles:  Most all pass BattleStations the first time, but if someone doesn't (because they fell asleep, etc), then they will go again the next night, even if it is the night before PIR.  They will then be at PIR in uniform, a sailor, tired.....but there!  In that case (going the night before PIR), they usually sit in the balcony....rather than marching....although some in the past have managed to march... :-)

Comment by gail on November 13, 2012 at 12:13pm

Mas - did you get to talk to someone?  Where is your sailor flying to?  Mine is to GulfPort and I would like to know too when she flies out.  Sure hoping it is Friday, but sounds like it will be 11/21.  If anyone here's anything please let me know.  Thank you.

Comment by sws on November 13, 2012 at 12:11pm

While you are calling to find out if the age for children to attend is 2 or 12, you may also want to ask if your SR is one of those scheduled to fly to A school on 11/21 so you know how much time you have with your SR.
