We got a call from our Sailor at 6pm. The plane left at midnight to fly to A school the same day as PIR.
I have a question:
Did anybody's Sailor end up having to fly out on PIR day?
I know we were hearing a possibility of that...just curious :-)
"Talking", with my sailor right now via IM's!! He is in Pensacola and will be there for awhile. He said a Chief died and the place is in chaos right now. No further info given. Does anyone else know anything about this???
Glad all had such a wonderful time! We N4Moms veterans loved helping you! Blessings to your new sailors!
jenniferb I to agree with you about spending time and the Graduation ceremony. My son is with your son going to Pensacola, Fl. I just figured out the time that they would arrive. I asked him to call me today when and if he got settled. Where do you live? I hope that all of them have safe trips today. The weather looks better there then Great Lakes LOL
Everything went very smooth for us as well. The advice on this site was key to that success. My son and sailor connected in a new way, it was wonderful. He is now safely in Pensacola all tucked into his room and on his way to his new journey. THANK YOU!
Good Morning Ladies!! Just wanted to say we had a wonderful time over the Holiday with our SR. Graduation was fabulous and I can't begin to express how all of the advice and tips from the veteran moms helped. Could not have went so smooth without all of you. Graduation was wonderful and emotional. So proud of all of them for making it through. Thank you!!
Good Afternoon! First of all, big THANKS to diannep and FTLW for EVERYTHING!! Love you guys. Your advice and just your kind words mean more than you'll ever know. Graduation was absolutely amazing! Wonderful to see all these young men and women graduate. We got home this morning around 2:00 am.......very tired, but in overdrive with emotions. We were able to spend Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning with our son. We will never forget this. Wonderful!! Love and prayers to all for safe travels home. My son will be in Pensacola later today.
