OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Mom3:  I sent the info in a friend request.  Don't hit ACCEPT as the info goes away.

gail:  Unfortunately, only your SR can add the name, no one else can.  We aren't exactly sure when they can update the PIR lists, but hopefully your SR will get that letter soon (or calls home today!) and can get her sister's name on there before PIR.  Fingers crossed!

Mom3:  I will send you the BStations info.

I have a question.  Our daughter's PIR is 11/21.  She had 3 of us on her list for PIR and our oldest daughter can now drive in from Nebraska, but she is not on the list.  We wrote Olivia and asked her to add her sister, but she won't get the letter until Wed or Thur (the 14th or 15th).  Will she be able to add then or do you think I should call someone?  Thank you.  I am also anxiously awaiting the news of when they fly out after PIR...

Good Morning!

I hope Everyone has a good Veteran's Day

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on November 11, 2012 at 10:03am

Good morning everyone, I am hoping that the info about flying out on PIR day is wrong. I know one mom got that same info and sent an email to the PAO office last week and she was told that none of them fly out on that day. Please don't cancel or change any plans until you call them yourselves and find out for sure. I know it is nerve wracking to not know and to have to wait until Tuesday to find out seems like forever. I have my fingers crossed for you all and your are all in my thoughts and prayers :)

Crystal:  I agree with FTLW.  Call the PAO  (they may be closed tomorrow for Veterans Day though).  I feel sure that with all 3 proofs of ID, there shouldn't be a problem but better be safe than sorry!
