Dillonsmom, I am sorry that you son calls your ex-husband. I am not sure what he is thinking, or if he realizes how hard it is for you that he is not contacting you at all. Breaks my heart for you really. I would write him and tell him that you would love to hear from him next time he gets a chance tell him even if he does call his dad that if he could just take a few minutes and call you too. I dont know really what to say, except if you need anything or just someone to talk to....friend me and I am here for you.
Dillonsmom Oh I am so sorry.. This just makes me cry. I understand. I think the reason I got the call last week was because in every letter I wrote my phone number in it. I knew he did not have his cell and would not remember any numbers. LOL.. But I do understand, and if you ever need anyone to talk to you can count on me. I live in California right now. We will for sure meet up at Sarge's Meet and Greet and we can be each others date. It will all get better
I keep thinking this will be the week that they all get it together, but is sounds like div 16 which is there brother div has it together and its our group that is stuggling. I am concerned that if they dont pull it together that we will not be seeing them on the 21st. They could bump them all back. Let's all just keep praying that they get it together and SOON. My son said that he has passed all of his test, written and phyical, the only one he does not know about is his DEP test at this point. So I am not sure what happens when they dont get it togher....does any of the verteran moms know what happens?
Kellyd, I wrote my son a letter and told him to start getting up early and helping the people that cant help themselves. Try to work with them when they have a minute. I also told him to try to get a few people that are getting it to start helping the ones that cant. i dont know what else to tell him.....
pinkpuddles Hey sorry to hear your phone call ended so quickly. I do hope that you are able to receive another one. I agree with you I too am single and have no one to cry on and talk to.. This site has helped me so much. But it still is hard not knowing what is going on and how they really are doing. Come on Nov 21
Hey pink,
My son said the same thing when he called Friday night.
I hope that they pull it together too. That was on top of my prayer list this weekend.
Hang in there. They will get it.
I talked to my son on Friday night, he is ship 13 div 15. He said things are not going well for his division. They are still not able to follow simple instructions and he fears he will not be able to speak with me again until he graduates because they are just not pulling it together. He got to talk for 5 minutes and as I was telling him to hang in there the phone got hung up. Please tell me that it is going to get better for these boys and that I am going to hear from my son before he graduates boot camp. I have been sick all weekend. Physicall ill worring about my son. I am a single parent and I dont have anyone to defer to in hopes that it is going to be ok. I just pray for all of the boys in that division that they will pull it together.
Good Morning Ladies!
