WELCOME to PIR 11/21/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

My SR called!!!!! 5 weeks to the day I got the hello call, my first form letter and a written letter so you just neve know! He totally loves bootcamp. Said they go to bed and 10 and everyday the come in at 5 yelling but he feels like the RDC really have his back and want him to succeed. He could only talk for 3 minutes. His letter said he is trying to get the best out of it like dicipline and working under stress. They quaranteend div 009 and 010 due to a chicken pox outbreak and finally he said "do you remember all the studing we did before I left well it paid off I did really well on my test" That was nice of him to say that. Ok I am on cloud 9! Hope this info helps others stay more connected.

Thanks, Ladies, so very much!  Another successful surgery for him today (2nd one in less than 24 hours).  Successful....restored blood flow to his right leg (bullet severed artery).  One more surgery tomorrow...for minor details...and hoping that they can then let his body"takeover" healing (with the Lord's help!).  Thanks so much.

I too hope that there are letters and/or calls today for you all!
