Boo-Boo's happen...Sorry to interupt "the flow"...just a little "business". Just looking out for you and your recruits.
As a refresher I am going to repost the link to the PAGE for:
The fundraising post reply was removed. Please do not post solicitation links on this PIR GROUP as it breaks this section of the N4M's Community Guidelines:
• Don’t Solicit for Products, Services, etc.:
Advertising and promotions are allowed ONLY on your profile page. You may not use Private Messages or Chat to advertise unless members specifically request information. No individuals, groups, or businesses may solicit any project or purpose external to the site within the Forums, Groups, or Blogs.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
• Products or services you are selling
• Asking for signatures, money, gifts, or donations either for yourself or an external cause
• Work-at-home businesses or opportunities
• Job opportunities or resumes
• Charities and charitable causes or fund-raisers – even Navy-related
• Promoting your own Web site/blog or a Web site or online support group which you represent
• Promoting an entry in a contest
I know this is usually done in innocence so just an FYI for those that didn't know and a gentle reminder for those that are familiar with the Guidelines TY!
I feel like I am going to get a real letter today. Will let you know if my feling was right.☼
Love the Pumpkin!!! As the younger folks say "that's hott." Please Please send that to your son so he can share with DIV 12. My son is in that division as well. What a creative idea us NAVY MOMS ROCK!
pinkladybug: You should have PIR Day with him until either 8 or 9 pm. He will have to be back at least 30 minutes before "curfew" to allow time to walk back to his ship. He most likely will be flying out the next day to A School....they bus them to the airport in the wee hours of the morning. You can meet him there if you like, get a gate pass from the airlines, and wait with him until his plane leaves.
Pinkladybug: They have to stay on base at night... liberty is daytime only!
That is awesome Betsy, enjoy your shopping day. I took our college girl shopping in Charlotte last week on her way back to school and I actually did a little shopping myself. I got my Sailor a few things for her house and now I am looking for great gift ideas for very small things she can take on her ship. I got her a Kindle Fire HD for her December birthday so I am thinking an Amazon gift card will be on the Christmas list for sure so she can get lots of books and movies loaded to the Kindle before she deploys. I LOVE Christmas and I LOVE shopping lol.
