What wonderful stories you all have! Thank you so much for sharing.
Sarges M & G sounds like a blast and glad you all enjoyed it.
"Fair winds and following seas..."
J Freshie: We will stand united with our prehistoric phones....until they die! :-)
Congrats to all of your sailors and now....onward to A School and their next chapter. You all will love being back in contact with your sailors!
Good Day!
"But above all these things put on Love,
which is the bond of perfection. And let the
peace of God rule in your hearts, to which
also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
Colossians 3:14-15
Awww, love all the great feedback we getting here!! That dance contest is a new thing at Sarge's Meet & Greet!! All you ladies are most welcome!! Loved helping you and hope you're all plugged into your A school groups~~
Thanks to everyone for all the helpful advice!
The Meet and Greet was a fabulous start to an incredible weekend with my Sailor! We would have never known about that opportunity without this site and all of the helpful moms!!! Sarge ROCKS!!
We did eat at Lovell's and they truly treated our son Chris like a Hero!! We took the train from Great Lakes to downtown Chicago on Saturday (and FROZE!), and then had to say our sad goodbyes again as we left him in "A" School on Sunday for the next chapter in all of our lives!
God Bless you all and your families!
Although I am not a mom, I truly appreciate the helpful information all of you have provided on this site. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the Navy and experience an amazing PIR weekend!! I am back home in Boston preparing myself for our move to sunny San Diego!! Thank you all again and be blessed! Go Navy!!
jrk'smom: I hope that you check back in here every now and then to share how your sailor is doing! No one needs to leave this group if they don't want to! :-)
Thank you to all the veteran moms here. I'll be moving on, my son is already at Corry and will class up next Monday. I enjoyed my time in GL, it was a blast seeing our old base housing from when we were stationed there previously LOL Best of luck to all of you.
Blessed Sunday!
" I have loved you with an everlasting love.
I have drawn you with loving-kindness."
Jeremiah 31:3
