Hey everyone, I want to give you a "HEADS UP" to be prepared to receive calls from your SRs this weekend! The call will show up as "847", "Pay Phone", or "Government" or anything else that may be unfamiliar. Let your family members know about this too in case you miss the call somehow, so they can pick up an unfamiliar call~~ If it is a sales call, just politely tell them "No, thank you."
During this time in Boot Camp, please keep your cell phones charged, ready, and with you all the time---upstairs, downstairs, out in the backyard, in the bathroom, out to get the mail, of course, out on errands. If you are going to a loud restaurant or a movie theater, remember to put it on "vibrate" and put in your pocket or some place you can feel it. They can call during the week or weekend, so just be prepared: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (West Coast); 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (Great Lakes time); 9:00 am - 9:00 pm (East Coast).
Happy Friday!
"For it is God who commanded light to shine
out of darkness, Who has shone in our hearts
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory
of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
II Corinthians 4:6
Yes,that is fine, krabbykelly. Just enclose and don't make the letters thick where she will have to open it in front of the RDCs. Better to enclose them in separate letters that don't make them thick if that's the case.
Welcome!
Hi everyone! My daughter. Arrived at boot camp on the 24th. I got her box and her form letter. I was wondering, can I send her wallet sized photos of her sisters ( school pictures). They hadn't arrived before she left. Thanks!
My daughter arrived at GL on 9/24. I received her scripted phone call at 8:30 p.m. that evening; received the box on Tuesday; I have not received the letter. I am anxiously waiting for the letter because her recruiter gave me her address and said her PIR is on 11/26. 9 Fridays after her arrival is on 11/21. So confused!!
Melissa- I love your countdown chalkboard! I'm hoping to get my letter today, nothing in the mail yesterday.
Welcome to the new members here and Good Morning!
