Shelly,

Anything relating to your SR in the Navy, how to prepare to go to Pass in Review (PIR/Graduation), your feelings as you go through your own Boot Camp, etc... Share what you feel is appropriate to help others~~  If you need to vent, we're here for that too!

yulontay,

I'm a veteran mom.  You can scroll down this group to the beginning page and read my introduction.  I have a Sailor daughter!  I'm definitely honored to be her Navy Mom!

It's a good idea when you pop in--and I was here daily!--to read all the posts from the last time you posted to catch up on everything everyone has been asking and the answers~~~  The other veterans helping are diannep, Lala, ellen0502 and sometimes Craig~~

Is this group to just talk about anything related to our loved ones? His PIR is the 21st and I'm looking into flights now. I'm already so excited to see him.

Catmom, yes I do believe it's the works appointed by God. This will be a great experience for the both of you. I'm so excited about seeing my youngest grow up so fast. It's an honor to be the proud parents of these future sailors. These young men and women are out here to defend us and our country and I thank them ALL. Can't wait until PIR. Will you attend PIR

yulontay,

Wow, we thank your sons for their service in the Navy!!  Hard enough to send one son off, much less 3~~

I miss my Sailor daughter so much, but know she has chosen a journey guided by our God.  She is doing fantastic!!  Yep, coming here to be with other Navy moms is a great comfort~~

Got my letter today, so glad to know when PIR is so we can plan our trip.  The address to send letters to is also nice :)

Hi. My son PIR ON 7/21/14. This is my second sailor and soon to have a third. Regardless of the multiple trips I've made to MEPS, it has been a lil difficult but resources like this is a great help.
