I can't remember if I wrote already or not. Craig will be staying in Pensacola for the Christmas holiday this year. He seems fine about it and is more worried about how I will feel on Christmas Day. He is just hanging around waiting for inspections and cleaning and going to mini classes. His actual classes aren't scheduled for February or March. Have a warm weekend. It's snowing here and the temperature is dropping. Should be a very cold day here tomorrow.

Praying for you both, Janet. Stay strong.

Colleen, our son is also staying in Pensacola for Christmas. Hopefully he can come home after he gets through classes, which aren't starting until Feb. or March. We're at -9 degrees here in MN. Stay warm, all.

Evening ladies. We went caroling tonight at an assisted living place here in town. We met a lady who had relatives living in the same small town in MI where my husband grew up. Small world. We are in all the Christmas activities this week, always lots to do. Talked to Craig today. He is fine but bored. Not much going on in FL yet. He was going to call his brothers and sister. I also want to say thanks for the love and support on this site. While we may not be as intense, lets still update out lives every short while. Maybe when the Christmas season has settled down, we can chat. Have a good Sunday.

Lana, hope you are doing well. Have you heard from Devyn? Praying for him and you.

Yeah for Dev and Cody. Craig is in FL and now not starting all the classes until Jan. He says he is a high priced janitor. I wish he could come home and clean up. Anyway, he's called every day and is sounding good. Have a good night all.

Afternoon, ladies. Hope that your Monday is going well. I'm at the end of my teaching day and am looking forward to going home and crashing. It's always hard coming back after a break. I love this time of year. (Crazy as that sounds when everyday has something filling it up.) I'm even over half way finished with my Christmas shopping. Yeah!

Marianne,
Anthony is in the in the old building too. How nice that Aaron got to spend Thanksgiving with a family. I haven't hear about Anthony's Thanksgiving yet, he is going to call us tomorrow. I am shipping his cell phone out to him today.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We've heard from Craig 3 times already from Pensacola. He's just hanging out today. Ate at A&W the only place open today. He's looking at the water in 60 degree temps. Now he says that his schooling won't start for another month. He won't get home in Feb. like we thought at first. And he can't come home for Christmas. Oh well. At least he is fine for now. Please think of him on Sunday, It's his birthday. 20!! Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
It is just so great to see how happy everyone is, Sailors AND moms ;-)
I heard from Anthony early this morning and he told me he moved last night to the regular base at GL. He will be there for awhile for the ATT course before he heads to Pensacola. He is in a room with 2 other guys they have a pretty good sized refrigerator and a bathroom to themselves, ah, it must feel like heaven. He said there are about 28 guys from his division over there, so he has lots of company. They were getting brunch at 9:00am and Thanksgiving dinner later. He told me there is 1 phone for each floor & about 100 Sailors per floor and, of course, most do not have their cell phones yet. He was laughing at the guys who were waking up and all worried that they slept through breakfast. Most of us won't have our Sailors with us this holiday, but at least we know they have more freedom now and are starting a great new adventure. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
