Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Are you on Facebook?  If so, RTC (recruit training command) has a FB page.  Each week they post pictures from that week's graduation.  For those who have recruits in the performing divisions, it is an opportunity to see pictures of their recruits as well.
I am, and I looked at the ones from this week.  He's not performing yet.  I just want a back up in case....you never know.  Thanks!
Thanks so much!! When you see the drumline, just try for a picture of the snare drums! If I get another call I will ask him where he will be standing.
We'll try!
I appreciate it SO much....I can't wait to see a picture of him.

If anyone wants to add me on facebook, send me a message and I will give you my information....Thanks everyone!!

Constables - I'll try and get a few pictures for you too.  I know how you feel and wish my son had some kind of talent so I would have the chance to see him in pictures before his PIR.  :)
Thanks Jenn!  I appreciate it so much.  I talked to my son for the first time Friday.  He's having a good time.  He said other than the homesickness, he's doing fine.  I hope everyone elses loved ones are doing well too!
I also will try to get pictures, I know I will be taking pictures for someone else in that group, so I will keep clicking away :-)
Thanks so much. I am teary eyed I am so happy.  You guys are all so nice to do this for me.  Thanks!!
Constables: I'll be there on the 23rd and will take pics the best I can. I am a professional photographer and plan on bringing my 'big' camera - I think! It will be hard to be an emotional mom and photographer but I'll give it my best shot. Like AZK said, the facebook page for the recruit training command center posts some awesome photos of the graduations. Much better than the ones the rest of us are able to capture. Too much to take in... But, we'll try to get some pics for you for sure!
thanks so much!!
