to TJCsMom: just wanted to add FYI - our recruiter told us our future sailor is Ship 2 Div 903 & we also are waiting for the form letter. only got the box so far. hoping letter comes today. I've been on the site for the past couple of months & have only seen one or two other moms post that particular ship & div #. did not see anyone from that # post that they got their letter or a call yet other than the I'm here call. maybe they're still filling that div up...

Thank you diannep, but I also haven't yet received the form letter from my SR to confirm the address, nor have I seen it posted anywhere that that division is included in this PIR group. I'm just assuming that it will be based off of the info that I have been able to find. Has anyone in this group confirmed that Ship 14 Div 026 is in the 11/26/14 PIR?

And, yes, being a holiday weekend, please do not wait on making plans.  If you can book with Southwest Airlines into either Milwaukee (45 min to GL) or Chicago-Midway (hour+ to GL depending on traffic).....you will incur no change fee if your SR gets delayed for any reason.  2 bags check for free too.  Cheaper car rental in Milwaukee, no traffic.  Straight shot to GL.

Hotels will book quickly.  Many will be visiting their A School sailors for Thanksgiving, so please do not wait on your reservations.  If you call the hotels directly, usually no problem if you have to cancel up to day before/day of arrival.  Try Navy Lodge, Springhill Suites, Courtyard, Residence Inn, or Holiday Inn Express.  Navy Lodge, book in your SR's name if you don't have military ID---about a mile from RTC; the others are close together, 4-5 miles from RTC, near Sarge's MeetandGreet the night before PIR, and they offer some rooms at a Navy Grad discount.  Not sure if they will on a holiday weekend, but worth it to call the hotel directly and ask...a limited number of rooms is held at this rate (I believe it is about 10 percent off).

I'm panicking about making plans since this is a holiday week.

I received an address from the recruiter that looks like this:

R 2015  026

USS Arizona (BB-39)

I'm assuming 026 is his division number but I don't know what ship number and cannot confirm the PIR date. Any thoughts? It was suggested that I join this PIR group until I hear otherwise.

Hey CatMom and diannep!! Can you help me help a mom on Facebook? Her SR is in Div 903, but she hasn't received her letter yet and does not know which ship houses Div 903. Anyone with an SR in Div 903? She is just trying to mail out some letters. Thank you!!
