Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 803 and 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Hi all!  Do any of you know if we will get to spend Thanksgiving day with our sailor?

lemonelephant emailed me that they get liberty for the whole week-end if they are staying at Great Lakes after PIR

That is so awesome!  Thank for so much for sharing this info!

I wish I had checked here before buying our tickets!

My son is also Div 804.  I'm in Connecticut, no letter yet, but it was a nice surprise to hear from him this past Saturday.  He said they would be writing for the first time on Sunday.

(copied and pasted from separate discussion group)

For all those that received letters from your SRs, congrats!  Are there any 803 moms that have received letters?  And thanks for the info on Lovell's of Lake Forest.  We made reservations for 4:00 since I don't know if they have to be back on the base that evening.  If anyone would like to join us, just let me know; the more the merrier!

Well, I'm 804 (across the hall) and got one... Don't know if that helps or not.

I got a letter from my son today. I was so excited I cried. He said he missed me and loved me so much and that he knew that I was worried sick, but that he was "safe and doing well" and that adjusting to things had been really hard but he's managing to survive. He apologized that he didn't call me but as soon as he got off the call with his fiancé his RDC told him his time was up. He said" I was so upset, mom, you don't even know." He said that to begin with he just wanted to come home but he read Luke 14:28 and also remembered that he was not in this alone. He said "My family has my back, and my God has back". He also said that he was the "religious PO" I am so proud of him. He also thanked me for "looking up all of this stuff on the internet" (he gave me a hard time about this before he left) he said it really helped him out and he needed all the help he could get because leaving his great family had been so hard.
He did not say any thing about his teeth or about being sick or anything like that. I am so thankful to here from him. I will be praying for all of you and your SR's.

Tlcmom, I am truly happy for you; what a weight off our minds when we hear they are doing well.  Hopefully a call tomorrow?

And Boommom, congrats to you also!!

Riverstone41 I'm hoping for a call tomorrow also. My phone will be by my side all day.
I am still thinking about what to do for thanksgiving.
Sip 4/div803 we got a call this morning from our SR and he sounded positive! He did say about 13 guys got their wisdom teeth pulled and he will be getting his pulled this week. He also said half of the div got to call this morning and the other half this afternoon , so keep your phones close.
