Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 801 & 802!!!

It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Weather looks really good for travel in and out of the GL area.  Relief!

I woke up to 16 degrees this morning, so those 40s and 50s are looking balmy!

Expecting lots of posts this pm.  So close. The counter is at 2 days....seems so long ago it was in the 30s and thought this time would never come.  Praying for all our Sailors and SRs.

I am leaving my house tomorrow morning at 6:30, will be at Midway by noon. YEAH!!!! Cannot wait. I have to work tonight, my poor people, I know for sure I am going to have concentration issues. Pray for an easy night at work, for their sake LOL.

I have been watching weather.com quite closely and the weather for the weekend looks wonderful up there. Too warm for snow, some possible rain Friday but we will be inside all day, and then up to 50+ on Saturday.

Anyone with an 801 sailor that cannot be there, feel free to PM me if you would like me to give an extra hug, drop something off to them, send a personal message, I would be happy to deliver.

See you all soon!

I left a balmy 75* Fla. yesterday. Drove as far as Kentucky. Woke up to FROST on the van.  28*.  Should get to the Navy Lodge about the same time as I get the "I'm a Sailor" call.  What an exciting next 4 days will be!!

I also emailed my son & told him if he wanted to bring someone with us after PIR that we had plenty of room in the hotel & van. No one gets left behind. I'm sure as soon as he gets a chance he will check his emails!

See you all under the Spartan sign at Sundance Saloon!!
Can't wait!!

My plane does not get into Milwaukee until 8:55 Thursday night so I am really disappointed that I won't make the Meet and Greet at Sundance Saloon. Have been trying to figure out a way to take an earlier flight in which would get in at about 12:30 but then I have the issue of getting to Great Lakes because the 2 friends of my son who are coming also won't all get in until about 1000 and then we are renting a car. Wish I had known about this when we were making travel arrangements... I would love to meet everyone Thurs night! Could someone pick up any info or handouts that Sarge may have? Will look for the sign at PIR!!! Can't wait till we get our calls this afternoon or evening. See You all on Friday :).

I may not be able to make it to the Meet and Greet either.  Will there be a sign at the PIR for div 801, 802. I am a short redhead.

same here countrymom, and I will follow your lead.  anyone  that has a SR in 801 that can't be there, I can give a hug also, and send a message also. would be glad to.

i can hardly concentrate on my work.  counting down the minutes until i leave the office and go home and start packing. leaving tomorrow around 8:00 am hoping to get to the hotel by 2:00 pm and relax before the meet and greet. we are all so excited.  safe trip to all!

WOOHOO!.....just left work!  Going home to take care of the last minute details.....We leave bright and early in the morning.  WE ARE SO EXCITED!  Cant wait to see our SR and we cant wait to meet all of yall! Ready to get our "I'M A SAILOR CALL!

Great advice, Cor!  We were there early, and went straight up to the balcony and had a great view of the entire hall.  The roar around us as 801 and 802 marched in was INCREDIBLE!!!

Woot Woot!  Got the call--- He's happy to be finished and looking forward to some pizza!  He said that his RDC is really cool (now) and that he got to look him in the eye for the first time...  Got the hat, the handshake and was called "Shipmate."

Good stuff.

Congratulations to all the new Sailors!
