Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 023 & 024

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Can someone message me BS information for Ship 12 Div 023?

Thank you

if you get the info can you message me as well please. My son is in 024 and they should go the same time. I just wanna make sure I keep that phone with me after for the "I am a Sailor" call. Thanks

I hear you! I missed the one call my son, also from 024, made as my darn cell didn't even ring! I have heard that we will get the " I'm a Sailor!" call one week before grad so keep that phone on ya! ;)

Got a letter today.  Said they finished Hell Week and everything is going great.  Passed his PT test, and all inspections with flying colors!  Said is not feeling well though, having some chest congestion, but won't go to medical (typical).  Just hope is doesn't turn into pneumonia or bronchitis.  Over all sounds like things are good and they will be graduating in 2 weeks!  Still no date for BS.

Received our Division sweatshirts today AND a letter!! What a great day! All seems to be going well. 13 Days!!!!

Hello! I am a new member and my SR is 024 as well! I really wish I would've known about this group/N4M's from the beginning! It's been way more tough than I ever imagined! Anywayyyyy, What sweat shirt???? I want one!

hi pj024! This group has been such a great support throughout this whole experience. Too bad you didn't find it earler. Each div. designed their own flag and you can buy tshirts and sweatshirts with their flag on them. Go to usnavytees.com or you may be able to purchase or order them at the NEX after graduation. not sure. I ordered mine last Monday and had them by Friday!

Thank you! I too

Does anyone know if today is the last PFA?  Also, will we get phone calls on Thanksgiving?

I think their final PFA was the end if last week. Not sure about the phone call. If they're leaving base they can call.
Thanks! Would we know if they didn't pass something?

Happy Thanksgiving! Just had my first phone call from my SR. He was adopted for the day. So wonderful to hear his voice! It was great to get answers to so many questions. Very thankful today!!
