Just missed 3 calls from my son, however, on my return home I got a letter from him with the best new ever. He was made Recruit Chief Petty Officer...and if he keeps that up he'll be the guy with the sword...neat...then I discovered that my daughter takes part in all the graduations. She is a flag holder...found her on the last graduation, November 4, on the recruit facebook, she is in picture 26, the girl in front in glasses. I am so proud. Thanks for being here to share guys. .

Hmmmm - division 39 & 40 getting calls. Maybe div 42 will follow shortly! Just hope it's not while we're heading over the pass today with no cell reception!

So glad for the ladies who received letters. Hope to get something today. I'm a little disoriented this morning, got up at 1:30AM to get ready for those Black Friday sales (yes, I'm one of those crazy nuts) Got a lot done, then took a nap when I woke up couldn't figure out what day it was. Shopping in the middle of the night can do that to you, but while I was out I did get a very nice blue candle. Hope you all had a good holiday.

Same here....HOOYAY!! We got our phone call from Ryan this morning. He sounded GREAT! Says the food is good and also enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast served by the USO. He has been given a nickname by the RDC - 'Ginger'. Says alot of recruits have them. He has received our letters (enjoys them all)and sent some off to us as well. Thank you God for answering my prayers! :-)
