Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

sorry Bluewarrior! maybe Navy barbie is right... I heard someone fell asleep earlier and got in trouble also shorted everyones calls..."it happens" maybe it was something like that? I will pray you hear from him soon ! sleep is a good idea so u and the baby can rest :)

Congrats to all the new sailors...I'm so happy for everyone!!!  Hope the rest of the divisions have the same great news.  I have to wait untill Monday.

I think I'm going to give up on getting a call tonight maybe it will get here tomorrow! Congrats to all the new Sailors we are very proud of you!

YAY !!!!!! i got the call too. i was so so excited i was goin crazy lol i think the people where i was working at probably thought i was crazy too :)

I am so proud of our SAILORS......saying prayers for a peaceful night with lots of rest and for their bodies to be alive again come Saturday for the Captains Cup Event.

I hope you are right about him having watch duty. I've never been so crazy about phone calls until he left for bootcamp. haha. But hopefully if not tonight, I will hear from him tomorrow. At least I know our divisions passed. Congratulations to everyone who did receive phone calls though! I know it must be a wonderful feeling! Can't wait to see you all at the Meet and Greet!
