ProudGMBarb - So sorry, hope your grandson recovers and is able to have another PIR date.

Does anyone know what happens after Battlestations, recruits become sailors and then what is their schedule like.......still studying, exercising or do they have a little free time before PIR?

Proud GM~ Know you are disappointed and also that your recruit is also.  Help keep his spirits up.  Tell him the N4M prayer warriors are with you all.

Blue~ Yay!  Rest easy and take care!

And has let me chime in with 045/046.  Seriously, none of us seem to know anything about BS for our SR.  Talk about being in the dark.  I haven't heard anything from my SR since I dropped him off Christmas.   Hmmm

Barb, so sorry to hear. I am disheartened by the news. I am obviously anxious fo hearth news that our division excelled at BS...I hope your grand on get o move on sooner than later. Best wishes, prayers and hugs.

Blue, I am just waiting for his call o I can ask all those question, especially if I will be able to hang with him at the airport before he ships out. I will be leaving GL on Saturdaynight myself, ut that small moment in time will be great. Plus it would be great to be able to give him his stuff that he's not allowed to bring back to base. I am happy to hear that you have come to a decision about work. You'll be great.

We received the very sad news today that our grandson who injured his knee would not be able to do BS, and therefore will not be graduating on the 14th. We are sooooo bummed out, but you can be sure he is more down then we are. Still don't know exactly what kind of knee injury. He will see the doctor again on Monday, and it is up to the doc as to what happens next. Currently, I was told they put him on light duty. Please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Thank you everyone.
