Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This is for all of us who have recruits graduating from RTC on January 14th, 2011. Here we can all support eachother through the long separation and prepare to see our US Navy Sailors for the first time after RTC.

@bluewarriorlady - I think you summed it up best when you said you haven't really had the opportunity to enjoy your pregnancy. I say ENJOY!! There's a miracle happening inside of you right now.

They told me as long as they have their credentials ( photo id) and are in the car with those who are on the list they should be fine. She said that the DIV in PIR1-14 are not very big.

Bluewarriorlady, my SR was a premie because I thought I was so strong and ignored my body's signals. You have all the time in the world to work - take care of yourself.
